Another picture of a lynx at Langedrag Mountain farm and Wildlife park. I am glad to know there are still some of these living in the free here in Norway.

Update april 2014: The hunting season for lynx 2014 has now come to an end, and sadly, there are now 70 animals less living in Norway.

I live in a part of the world called Norway with my wife and two daughters. I worked as a telecom engineer for 20 years. Nowadays I am attending a helpdesk supporting colleagues with computer problems. I am also a hobby photographer who believe we ought to pay more attention to how we treat our planet and each other. I trust the reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and I am disappointed that leading politicians in my own and other countries more or less have been ignoring warnings from the scientists for 20 years.

  1. It is a beautiful animal. There are estimated somewhere between 320 and 350 lynx in Norway, and the number has been decreasing now for four years in a row. So you must be very lucky to see one in the wild. Imagine our surprise last year, when we had one in our garden!
