Cat meets Fox

My wife and I had quite a surprise at breakfast today, when we were watching a cat outside our house and a fox suddenly came out from the woods. The cat’s strategy was clear: Get as high up as you can and try to look as big and dangerous as possible. And the strategy worked, the fox left and there was no fighting. Picture taken through the kitchen window.

A fine day at Langedrag mountain farm

I love visiting Langedrag. Its beautiful location, the animals, the fresh mountain air, its rough but pleasant buildings all have a very special, soothing effect on me. And there are always new and exciting motives for a hobby photographer like myself. I was there yesterday, it is only about 45 minutes drive from where I live. Below, you’ll find some of the pictures i took, hope you’ll enjoy them.

Stupid things you can do on a summer vacation

There are many silly things you can do on a summer vacation. Here are my youngest daughter and myself on a roller coaster in Djurs sommarland in Denmark. My daughter is the one with the long hair waving like a flag behind her. I am sitting next to her, scared stiff and hoping to survive.

Where the ravens live

The mountain Bitihorn seen from southeast yesterday. Bitihorn is 1607 m (5272 ft). The sun was shining as you can see, but the wind was strong, so we did not attempt to climb it (it is easy to ascend from the north side). We could hear the ravens from the place where I took the picture, I guess they had their nest in the steep mountain side.
